100% agreed. This is a terrible revenue model and they've never had a good one. All articles behind the gate? That's a head-scratcher. Of course August was profitable. Don't really care. All the best writers will continue to peel off, as the exodus of 2020 onward proved. Medium is love/hate for me, but it's been start-upping way to long. Everything that Ev starts and leaves is brilliant and then a tragedy. Medium is not dead, just dead to serious writers retiring hope for it.
